Over the years, we’ve collected questions from our customers who are looking to store their goods at our facility in Hagersville. Our professionals are experienced and have the answers you need. Some of the most frequently asked questions include:
What items am I not allowed to store?
Flammable or toxic materials and liquids, explosives or any combustible items, illicit materials/ Illegal substances, items or goods, perishable goods, no plants or animals, waste or items which could emit any fumes or odour.
Minimum rental period
A month or longer is preferred, our minimum rental period is one month.
What are your modes of payment (weekly/monthly/prepaid)?
We charge monthly and take money order, cash, or cheque. You also have the option of paying up front.
Additionally, we typically have specials for the rental of storage units for 12 months or longer.
What kind of ID do I need to rent?
We need two pieces of identification, the first being anything government issued with a picture on it (passport, driver’s licence, etc.) and the second piece of ID being anything that has your name on it.
What if I rent the wrong unit size?
We can easily transfer you to a different sized unit if needed. Should you move into a bigger unit, the difference in cost between the units would have to be paid. If you choose to move into a smaller unit however, we would refund you the difference.
How much notice do you need before I move in?
You can move in as soon as your account is set up.
Can I reserve a unit?
Yes we have reservation options available.
When is my rent due?
Your self-storage unit's rent is due at the beginning of every month (first of every month).
Do I need to provide my own lock?
You can most certainly bring your own lock but we also have locks for sale. However, should you choose to bring your own lock, we advise that you don't use a combination lock and to use a disc lock or a lock that cannot be cut off with a typical pair of bolt cutters.
Do I have access to power/electricity in my unit?
There is currently no power/electricity in the self-storage units.
What do I need before moving in?
Customers are responsible for the goods and valuables that they store in their units. We highly encourage that customers get the appropriate insurance packages to cover their stored items before they move in. A proper lock is also necessary before moving in, while setting pallets on the floor before placing items would also be advisable.
Do I need to give notice to vacate my unit?
A 30-day notice must be given before vacating the unit.
Do you sell packing supplies?
We sell an assortment of storage boxes, packaging tape and padlocks. Please inquire about our availabilities.
Are my items covered by insurance?
Customers are not covered by any insurance by the storage facility when they lease storage space. It is highly recommended that customers arrange for their own insurance package prior to moving in.
Do you have outdoor storage units?
We have outdoor parking available for customers looking for space to park their RVs, trailers, trucks, etc.
When can I access the facility?
Our facility is accessible 7 days a week, please ask manager the hours of accessibility.
How do I find out about your auctions?

How high are unit ceilings?
Typically 9' high (or higher)
How wide are unit doors?
The doors on our units range from 3' to approximately 8’ to 9' wide depending on the size of unit.
